St Michael and All Angels Church, Llanfihangel Rogiet

Rogiet (English: ; Welsh: Rhosied) is a small village and community (and electoral ward) in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, between Caldicot and Magor, 8 miles (13 km) west of Chepstow and 11 miles (18 km) east of Newport, which covers an area of 847 hectares (3.27 sq mi). It lies close to the M4 and M48 motorways, and the Second Severn Crossing. It has a railway station named Severn Tunnel Junction. Rogiet only has a population of 1,813 (2011). In the village is Rogiet Primary School, a 210-place school for pupils aged between 4 and 11 years. The school moved to a new, eco-friendly building in November 2009.

The Rogiet Hoard is a hoard of 3,778 Roman coins found at Rogiet, Monmouthshire, Wales in September 1998. The coins dated from 253 up until 295–296. The hoard notably contained several faulty issues, and some rare denominations, including those depicting the usurper emperors Carausius and Allectus.

Rogiet Primary School is located in the village of Rogiet, Monmouthshire, Wales. It caters for pupils aged 4 to 11 years of age. The current catchment area is Rogiet, Highmoor Hill, Five Lanes and Caerwent. Owing to the unusual demographics of Rogiet, with an unusually elderly population in the 1970s and 1980s, and thus a low number of children, school provision in the area was lagging behind other similar villages. The old school building was small, worn and lacking in modern facilities. A large expansion of housing in the village from the 1990s onwards made better school provision a pressing need. In November 2009, the school moved into a new building with many state of the art features. In 2010, it was awarded the BREEAM Excellence Awards for the UK and Wales, scoring a rating of 78.18%. This award acknowledges the school building as having the highest rating for sustainability of any school or educational building in the country. The building was designed by White Design Ltd. and constructed by Willmott Dixon. Both of these companies worked closely with the pupils, staff and local community to ensure that all opinions and ideas for the new school were addressed. The pupils, through the school council and older pupils, requested the inclusion of many eco-friendly features including solar panels, energy efficient lighting and a wind turbine. Children and staff watched the complete process of the school build and were regularly invited onto site by Willmott Dixon’s team. The building has since been seen by architects as an exemplar of current best practice in the building of sustainable schools.

Severn Tunnel Junction railway station (Welsh: Cyffordd Twnnel Hafren) is a minor station on the western side of the Severn Tunnel in the village of Rogiet, Monmouthshire, Wales. It is 123.5 miles (198.8 km) from London Paddington and lies at the junction of the South Wales Main Line from London and the Gloucester to Newport Line. The next station to the west is Newport. The next stations to the east are at Pilning in South Gloucestershire (through the Severn Tunnel) and nearby Caldicot (on the Gloucester line).

Undy (Welsh: Gwndy) is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, adjoining the village of Magor with which it forms the community and parish of Magor with Undy. It is located about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Caldicot and 10 miles (16 km) east of Newport, close to the junction of the M4 and M48 motorways, and adjoins the Caldicot Levels on the north bank of the Bristol Channel.

Dewstow House, Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales, is an early nineteenth century villa in a Neoclassical style. The house is notable as the site of "one of the strangest gardens in Wales." The building itself is plain; described by architectural writer John Newman as a "simple three-bay villa", it has extensive views over the Severn Estuary. The house is a Grade II listed building, while the garden is listed at the highest grade, Grade I, on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.

Magor with Undy is a community on the coast of the Severn Estuary in Monmouthshire, Wales. It includes the villages of Magor and Undy.The Magor with Undy community was formed in 1986 from the pre-existing communities of Undy and Magor. It has a community council which comprises up to thirteen locally elected or co-opted community councillors from four electoral wards: Denny, Elms, Mills and Salisbury. For elections to Monmouthshire County Council, Magor with Undy is covered by the Mill ward (Magor) and The Elms ward (Undy).

Caldicot railway station is a part of the British railway system owned by Network Rail and is operated by Transport for Wales. It serves the town of Caldicot in Monmouthshire, Wales. It is located between Chepstow and the city of Newport on the Gloucester line, 148 miles 2 chains (238.2 km) from the zero point at Paddington, measured via Stroud. The line to Bristol via the Severn Tunnel runs just to the north but there are no platforms here; however, Severn Tunnel Junction station is within walking distance for those wanting to travel to Bristol.

The Church of St Stephen and St Tathan, Caerwent, Monmouthshire, is a parish church with datable origins to the 13th century. It is believed to be one of the oldest Christian sites in the county, and possibly within Wales. The church is sited within the walls of the Roman town. It remains an active parish church and a Grade II* listed building.
