Reaseheath College

Reaseheath Old Hall is a former country house in the parish of Worleston, to the north of Nantwich in Cheshire, England. It was bought in 1722 by the Tomkinson family of Dorfold. The house was rebuilt in 1878 in Queen Anne style with Jacobean features, and enlarged in 1892. It is now part of Reaseheath College. The house is constructed in brick on a sandstone plinth, with a slated roof. It has three storeys, is in five bays, and has an L-shaped plan. The central bay projects forward and has a gable pediment. In the middle storey is a three-light lunette window. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Poole Hall is a Regency mansion at Poole, near Nantwich in Cheshire, England. It dates from 1812 to 1817 and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Nikolaus Pevsner considered the interior to be "exceptionally fine". The hall is a private residence and is not open to the public.

Nantwich Workhouse, also known as Nantwich Union Workhouse, Nantwich Union House and Nantwich Institution, is a former workhouse in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. It is located at The Barony, off Barony Road (at SJ65295338). Built in 1779–80 to accommodate up to 350 people, the institution remained in use as a workhouse until 1930. For much of the remainder of the 20th century, the former workhouse became part of Barony Hospital, and is currently used as offices for the National Health Service. The former workhouse is listed at grade II.

Nantwich Town Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. The club was founded in 1884 and is nicknamed The Dabbers, a reference to the town's tanning industry. They currently compete in and play their home matches at the Weaver Stadium - for sponsorship reasons, also known as the 'Swansway Stadium'. In 1995, in an FA Cup preliminary-round tie against Droylsden, Andy Locke scored the fastest ever FA Cup hat-trick, in 2 minutes 20 seconds. This record still stands for a hat-trick in any round of the FA Cup, including the preliminary rounds before the First Round. Nantwich have qualified for the FA Cup first round proper three times, in 2011, 2017 and 2019. Nantwich Town won the FA Vase on 6 May 2006. Two goals from Andy Kinsey and one from Stuart Scheuber produced a 3–1 win over Hillingdon Borough at St Andrew's. Nantwich followed up their FA Vase winning season with a successful promotion campaign in 2006–07. Finishing third in the North West Counties League Division One, they were promoted to the Northern Premier League Division One South for the 2007–08 season and then gained a second consecutive promotion, to the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Nantwich also progressed to the semi-final stage of the FA Trophy in 2015–16, losing 6–4 over two legs to Halifax Town.

Nantwich Walled Garden is a disused walled garden in the town of Nantwich, Cheshire, UK. It occupies approximately half an acre (0.2 hectares) north of 82 to 96 Welsh Row.

The Porch House, formerly sometimes the Porche House, is a large Georgian house, dating from the late 18th century, in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. It is listed at grade II. Located at numbers 64A and 64B on the north side of Welsh Row (at SJ6471452454), it is entered via its former stable entrance, The Gateway. Currently divided into two houses, the Porch House has previously served as a day and boarding school, and as a house for Belgian refugees. The existing building stands on the site of a 15th-century mansion of the same name. Nikolaus Pevsner considers Welsh Row to be "the best street of Nantwich". The street has many listed buildings and is known for its mixture of architectural styles, including timber-framed black-and-white cottages such as the Wilbraham's and Widows' Almshouses, Georgian town houses such as Townwell House and number 83, and Victorian buildings such as the former Grammar School, Savings Bank and Primitive Methodist Chapel.

The Gateway, or 60–62 Welsh Row, is a Late Georgian former stable entrance in Nantwich, Cheshire, England, dating from the early 19th century. It is located on the north side of Welsh Row (at SJ6474552433), on the junction with Red Lion Lane. It is listed at grade II. Nikolaus Pevsner describes The Gateway as "handsome".Pevsner considers Welsh Row "the best street of Nantwich". The street has many listed buildings and is known for its mixture of architectural styles, including other Georgian buildings such as number 83 opposite and Townwell House, black-and-white cottages such as the Widows' and Wilbraham's Almshouses, and Victorian buildings such as the former Grammar School, Primitive Methodist Chapel and Savings Bank.

Townwell House is an Early Georgian town house in Nantwich, Cheshire, England, located at number 52 on the north side of Welsh Row (at SJ6478852439). It dates from 1740, and is listed at grade II*; in the listing, English Heritage describes the building as "important" and highlights its "good central entrance".Townwell House is one of many Georgian buildings on Welsh Row, which Nikolaus Pevsner calls "the best street of Nantwich". Number 83, on the opposite side of the street, is also listed at grade II*.

Malbank School is a comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Nantwich, Cheshire with pupils of both sexes aged from 11 to 18.

The Widows' Almshouses, also known as the Wilbraham or Wilbraham's Almshouses and as the Widows' Hospital, are former almshouses for six widows in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. They are located at numbers 26–30 on the north side of Welsh Row, on the junction with Second Wood Street (at SJ6486452420). The almshouses were founded by Roger Wilbraham in 1676–7 in memory of his deceased wife in three existing cottages built in 1637; they were the earliest almshouses in the town for women. In 1705, Wilbraham also founded the Old Maids' Almshouse for two old maids in a separate building (now demolished) on Welsh Row. They remained in use as almshouses until the 1930s. The timber-framed Widows' Almshouses building, which is listed at grade II, has subsequently been used as a café, public house, night club, restaurant, wine bar and hotel. Nikolaus Pevsner considers Welsh Row "the best street of Nantwich". The street has many listed buildings and is known for its mixture of architectural styles, including other black-and-white cottages, Georgian town houses such as Townwell House and number 83, and Victorian buildings such as the former Grammar School, Primitive Methodist Chapel and Savings Bank. Two other former almshouses remain on Welsh Row: the Wilbraham's Almshouses were founded in 1613 by Wilbraham's ancestor Sir Roger Wilbraham, and the Tollemache Almshouses were built in 1870 to replace these by John Tollemache, a descendant of Sir Roger Wilbraham.

39 Welsh Row is a Victorian former savings bank, in Jacobean Revival style, in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. It stands on the south side of Welsh Row at the junction with St Anne's Lane (at SJ6482352398). Dating from 1846, it is listed at grade II. Nikolaus Pevsner describes number 39 as "the first noteworthy building" on Welsh Row, which he considers "the best street of Nantwich". The street has many listed buildings and is known for its mixture of architectural styles, including timber-framed black-and-white cottages such as the Wilbraham's and Widows' Almshouses, Georgian town houses such as Townwell House and number 83, and Victorian buildings such as the former Grammar School, Primitive Methodist Chapel and Tollemache Almshouses. 39 Welsh Row is one of three banks in the town dating from the Victorian era which are listed buildings; the others are the former District Bank, designed by Alfred Waterhouse, and Barclays Bank, designed by Thomas Bower, both of which are on Churchyard Side. Number 39 is currently used as offices.
