Great Budworth is a village and civil parish in Cheshire, England, four miles (6.4 km) north of Northwich off the A559 road, east of Comberbach, northwest of Higher Marston and southeast of Budworth Heath. Until 1948, Great Budworth was part of the Arley Hall estate. At the 2011 census, the population was 339.

The Methodist Church, Great Budworth, is a former Wesleyan Methodist Church in the village of Great Budworth, Cheshire, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It was built in the middle of the 19th century for Rowland Egerton-Warburton of nearby Arley Hall. It is constructed in brick, has a slate roof, and consists of a rectangular building with a service wing at right angles. It is now closed and is used as a private house.

Goldmine House and its attached cottage (Rose Cottage) are at No. 26 Southbank, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England, to the south of St Mary and All Saints' Church. They are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.The house and cottage were built for Rowland Egerton-Warburton of Arley Hall and were designed by the Chester architect John Douglas. They were constructed about 1870 in brown brick with some timber framing, and clay tile roofs. The house is to the west, is in two storeys, and has two bays, both gabled. The western bay is smaller than that to the east and is set back; its gable is timber framed. Between the storeys on both wings is a frieze of zigzag brickwork and plaster. To the east of the house is a single-storey extension with a catslide roof and an arched entrance giving access to rear of the buildings; over the entrance is a timber framed gable. The cottage is simple in form with a dormer and blue brick diapering. In 1884 the editor of The British Architect, Thomas Raffles Davison, described the building as one of the "very pleasing buildings south of the [church] by Mr Douglas".

St Mary and All Saints Church is in the centre of the village of Great Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Great Budworth. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. Clifton-Taylor includes it in his list of 'best' English parish churches. Richards describes it as "one of the finest examples of ecclesiastical architecture remaining in Cheshire". The authors of the Buildings of England series express the opinion that it is "one of the most satisfactory Perpendicular churches of Cheshire and its setting brings its qualities out to perfection".

Dene Cottages consists of a pair of cottages in the village of Great Budworth, Cheshire, England. The cottages are designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.The cottages were built in 1867–68 for Rowland Egerton-Warburton of Arley Hall and designed by the Chester architect John Douglas. The lower storeys are constructed in brown brick and the upper storeys are timber-framed with plaster panels. The roof is in clay tiles. The plaster panels are pargetted with floral motifs.

Cransley School is an independent day school in Great Budworth, close to the town of Northwich, Cheshire, England. The school educates girls and boys aged 4–16. The headmaster since 2016 is Mr Richard Pollock. The school regularly reaches the top of local performance tables (Cheshire) at GCSE level.The recent Educational Quality Inspection by ISI (May 2019) reported that its pupils’ Personal outcomes were Excellent, Academic provision was Good and that the School was compliant against all Independent School Standards. The school is non-denominational and welcomes all faiths and cultures. Traditional Christian values are observed.

Belmont Hall is a country house one mile (1.6 km) to the northwest of the village of Great Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The house stands to the north of the A559 road. Since 1977 it has been occupied by Cransley School.

Marbury Reedbed Nature Reserve is a 6-hectare (15-acre) nature reserve located at the western end of Budworth Mere, north of Northwich, Cheshire, England. It is managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust under lease from the Royal Society for Nature Conservation, which purchased the land by public subscription in 1934 as a memorial to the Cheshire naturalist Thomas Coward.The reserve, which is adjacent to Marbury Country Park, contains a range of habitats, with the reedbed, carr woodland and semi-natural broadleaved woodland demonstrating the various stages of hydrosere succession (a gradual change from open water to woodland). The open water contains a rich selection of plants, including water lilies, and provides valuable feeding and breeding habitat for kingfishers, little grebes and great crested grebes. The reedbed is almost exclusively composed of common reed and is a residence for summer birds such as reed and sedge warblers. In recent years the reedbed has been used as an over-wintering site by bittern, and the trust manages the reedbed for this secretive heron by cutting glades through the reeds to allow better feeding opportunities. The diminutive and shy lesser spotted woodpecker has also been seen occasionally in the reserve's woodlands.

Aston Park is a Queen Anne country house in the parish of Aston by Budworth, Cheshire, England, built in 1715. The first mention of a building on the site is in the Domesday Book from 1086. It is constructed in brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, and its front elevation is symmetrical with five bays. Its façade is decorated between the first floor windows with diapering in heart and diamond patterns. An extension was added to the right of the building during the 20th century. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.In 2018 the owner Laurence Daw was given a community order, together with a fine of £2,250 and costs of £65,000, for undertaking unlicensed redevelopment at the house which Cheshire East Council described as "reckless vandalism". Damage included demolishing a 19th-century servants' wing, a cheese room and an entrance for tradespeople, as well as replacing sash windows and other interior damage. The house subsequently required one of its walls to be stabilised.

Marston is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, in the northwest of England. The settlement is on the River Weaver, close to Anderton and the Anderton Boat Lift. The nearest major settlement to Marston is Manchester, which lies 15 miles (24 km) to the northeast. It is the site of the Lion Salt Works, now an industrial museum.

The Lion Salt Works is the last remaining open pan salt works in Marston, near Northwich, Cheshire, England. It closed as a work in 1986 and is now preserved as a museum.
