Mount Zion (Colorado)

Lookout Mountain Park is a Denver Mountain Park located around 12 miles (20 km) west of downtown Denver overlooking Golden, Colorado. It consists of 65.7 acres (266,000 m2) of evergreen wilderness atop Lookout Mountain, named for its being a favored lookout point of the native Ute Indian tribe. Lookout Mountain Park is the burial site of the internationally famous western frontiersman William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Lookout Mountain is a foothill on the eastern flank of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The 7,377-foot (2,249 m) peak is located in Lookout Mountain Park, 1.7 miles (2.7 km) west-southwest (bearing 245°) of downtown Golden in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States.

KVOQ (102.3 FM) is a public radio station licensed to Greenwood Village, Colorado, and serving the Denver metropolitan area. KVOQ broadcasts an Album Adult Alternative (AAA) radio format known as "Indie 102.3" under the ownership of Colorado Public Radio. It is listener supported and airs no commercials. On-air fundraisers are conducted several times each year. A 40-watt booster station, 102.3 KVOQ-FM3, is on the air in Boulder to help listeners there better receive the station. It is also simulcast on KNDH (96.7 FM) in Carbondale and its four dependent translators, which CPR acquired in 2021. In January 2022, Indie 102.3 began to simulcast in Colorado Springs on KEPC (89.7 FM).

KTFD-TV (channel 50) is a television station in Denver, Colorado, United States, affiliated with the Spanish-language network UniMás. It is owned by Entravision Communications, which provides certain services to Boulder-licensed Univision-owned station KCEC (channel 14) under a local marketing agreement (LMA) with TelevisaUnivision. Both stations share studios on Mile High Stadium West Circle in Denver, while KTFD-TV's transmitter is located atop Lookout Mountain, near Golden.

KWGN-TV (channel 2) is a television station in Denver, Colorado, United States, serving as the local CW outlet. It is owned and operated by network majority owner Nexstar Media Group alongside Fox affiliate KDVR, channel 31 (and its Fort Collins–licensed satellite KFCT, channel 22). Both stations share studios on East Speer Boulevard in Denver's Speer neighborhood, while KWGN-TV's transmitter is located atop Lookout Mountain, near Golden. KWGN is available to subscribers of satellite provider Dish Network throughout the United States as part of its superstations package (for grandfathered subscribers that purchased the a la carte tier before Dish halted sales of the package to new subscribers in September 2013), and is carried on cable television providers in parts of the western United States. The station is authorized for cable and satellite distribution as a U.S. superstation by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC); however, KWGN is not currently available on any pay television providers in that country.

KWBL (106.7 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Denver, Colorado. It is owned by iHeartMedia and it broadcasts a country format branded as 106.7 The Bull. KWBL carries two nationally syndicated country music shows from co-owned Premiere Networks: The Bobby Bones Show on weekday mornings and CMT Nites with Cody Alan heard overnight. The radio studios are located in the Denver Tech Center. KWBL has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts. The transmitter is on Lookout Mountain in Golden, amid the towers for other Denver-area FM and TV stations. KWBL broadcasts using HD Radio technology. Its HD-2 digital subchannel formerly carried the iHeartRadio soft adult contemporary music service known as "The Breeze."

KBPI (107.9 FM, "KBPI") is a commercial radio station licensed to Fort Collins, Colorado. It is owned by iHeartMedia and it broadcasts an Active rock radio format. KBPI's studios are located in Denver in the Tech Center. In December 2017, iHeartMedia assembled a trimulcast of KBPI along the Interstate 25 corridor on the 107.9 frequency, by moving KBPI's main signal to 107.9 in Fort Collins, as well as to translator station K300CP in Denver, and switching KDZA in Pueblo/Colorado Springs to a simulcast of KBPI.

The Lariat Loop National Scenic and Historic Byway is a National Scenic Byway and a Colorado Scenic and Historic Byway located in Jefferson County, Colorado, USA. The byway is a 40-mile (64 km) loop in the Front Range foothills west of Denver through Golden, Lookout Mountain Park, Genesee Park, Evergreen, Morrison, Red Rocks Park, and Dinosaur Ridge. The Lariat Loop connects to the Mount Evans Scenic Byway at Bergen Park.

KSBS-CD, virtual channel 10 (UHF digital channel 19), is a low-power, Class A television station licensed to Denver, Colorado, United States. It is a translator of Sterling-licensed independent station KCDO-TV (channel 3) which is owned by the Cincinnati-based E. W. Scripps Company; it is also sister to Denver-licensed ABC affiliate KMGH-TV (channel 7). KSBS-CD's transmitter is located atop Lookout Mountain, near Golden; its parent station shares studios with KMGH-TV on East Speer Boulevard in Denver's Congress Park neighborhood.

KUVO (89.3 MHz) is a non-profit FM radio station broadcasting mainly jazz music in a public radio format. Licensed to Denver, Colorado, KUVO is owned by the Rocky Mountain Public Media Inc. KUVO's mission is to "provide distinctive music, news and informational programming reflecting the values and cultural diversity of their listener community."

Colorow Point Park is a park located on Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1990. It is named for Colorow, a Ute chief, who used to camp on Lookout Mountain during the summers and held tribal councils at Inspiration Tree at the slope of Dinosaur Ridge. Although it is the smallest park in the Denver Mountain Parks system, at .37 acres, it is notable for its outlook at 7,500 feet in elevation. It provides views of the main peaks of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Continental Divide, as well as the plains and Clear Creek.

KLPD-LD, virtual channel 28 (UHF digital channel 30), is a low-powered independent television station licensed to Denver, Colorado, United States. The station is owned by Syncom Media Group.
