Hereford (UK Parliament constituency)

Hereford and South Herefordshire ( HERR-if-ərd ... HERR-if-ərd-sheer, -⁠⁠shər) is a constituency of the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. It comprises the city of Hereford and most of south Herefordshire and is currently represented by Jesse Norman of the Conservative Party.

It is approximately 5 miles (8 km) south from the city and county town of Hereford and 7 miles (11 km) north-west from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. The parish is significant for its Grade II* listed church, and Athelstan Wood, formerly anciently managed but now largely coniferised.

Lower Bullingham is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. The main village, Lower Bullingham, is a south-eastern suburb of Hereford. The parish also extends into the countryside and takes in the hamlet of Green Crize. In the early 1950s, the Polish Catholic Marian Fathers priesthood, mindful of the increasing number of school age children of Polish parentage in the UK post-World War II, set up a Polish boarding school at Lower Bullingham, on the outskirts of Hereford in buildings which had previously housed a convent. This was a junior boys' school and complemented a senior school established around the same time at Fawley Court, Henley-on-Thames. Boys from the Hereford-Lower Bullingham school would also attend the local English St Francis Xavier Catholic primary school during the day, located in the centre of Hereford.

Kingsthorne, also known as King's Thorn, is a village in Herefordshire, England, in Much Birch parish between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, adjacent to the A49 and A466 roads. The village lies 6 miles (9.7 km) south from Hereford and 22 miles (35 km) north west from Gloucester. As the land use within the village is almost entirely residential, most services are located outside the village. The primary school catering for approximately 200 pupils is between Kingsthorne and Much Birch. The village is part of the Wormelow Hundred benefice, with its church in Little Birch. The Castle Inn is in the heart of the village.
