Schönbrunn Palace

The sculptures in the Schönbrunn Garden at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria were created between 1773 and 1780 under the direction of Johann Wilhelm Beyer, a German artist and garden designer. The Great Parterre of Schönbrunn Garden is lined on both sides with 32 over life-size sculptures that represent mythological deities and virtues. The Neptune Fountain at the foot of the Gloriette hill is the crowning monument of the Great Parterre. Other sculptures are distributed throughout the garden and palace forecourt, including fountains and pools. Several sculptors were employed during the execution of these works, among them Johann Baptist Hagenauer.

Schlosstheater Schönbrunn (Schönbrunn Palace Theatre) is a stage at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna which opened in 1747. The Baroque theatre now serves for the training of students of acting and opera of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), and for performances of the Musik Theater Schönbrunn.

The Imperial Carriage Museum (German: Kaiserliche Wagenburg) is a museum of carriages and vehicles used by the imperial household of the Holy Roman Empire, the Austrian Empire and Austria-Hungary. It is housed in the grounds of the Schloss Schönbrunn in the Hietzing district of Vienna and is a department of the Kunsthistorisches Museum. The historic name Wagenburg derives from a form of fortification.

Schönbrunn is a station on U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located in the Hietzing District. It opened as part of the Wiener Stadtbahn in 1898 and became an U-Bahn station in 1981.

Hietzing (German pronunciation: [ˈhɪtsɪŋ] (listen)) is a station on U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located beside the canalised Vienna River, on the border of the Viennese districts Hietzing and Penzing, and at the north-western corner of the grounds of the Schönbrunn Palace. It opened as part of the Wiener Stadtbahn in 1898 and became an U-Bahn station in 1981.The entrance to the station is at the western end of the platforms, on a bridge crossing the U4 line and the Vienna River. The station is integrated with an interchange that also hosts stops for lines 10 and 60 of the Vienna tramway, and bus routes 51A, 56A, 56B, 58A and 58B.At the eastern end of the station platforms, the track is straddled by a pavilion that was designed by Otto Wagner, who was responsible the artistic design of the Stadtbahn. The pavilion was intended as a private entrance to the Stadtbahn for the use of the Emperor Franz Joseph, although it was only used by him on two occasions. The pavilion was given a distinctive exterior and an Art Nouveau interior for its intended use. The pavilion, known as the Hofpavillon, is no longer connected to the station platforms, but is open to visitors as one of the sites of the Vienna Museum.

The Chapel of St. Roch is a Catholic chapel in Penzing at Penzinger Street 70, Austria. The chapel is dedicated to the two plague saints, Roch and Sebastian.

The Vienna Technical Museum (German: Technisches Museum Wien) is located in Vienna (Austria), in the Penzing district, at Mariahilferstraße 212. The decision to establish a technical museum was made in 1908, and construction of the building started in 1909. On June 20, 1909, Emperor Franz Josef laid the foundation stone. The museum was opened in 1918. The Political Academy of the Austrian People's Party is the educational institution of the Austrian People's Party (Österreichische Volkspartei). The “Political Academy” supports civic, political and cultural education by means of seminars, training courses, lectures, publications, applied research, etc. The Political Academy is located in the "Springer Schlössl" (Springer Castle) in Vienna. It is a member of the Centre for European Studies, the official foundation/think tank of the European People's Party.

The Palmenhaus Schönbrunn is a large greenhouse in Vienna, Austria featuring plants from around the world. It opened in 1882. It is the most prominent of the four greenhouses in Schönbrunn Palace Park, and is also among the largest botanical exhibits of its kind in the world, with around 4,500 plant species.

The Princess Diana Memorial is a memorial dedicated to Diana, Princess of Wales, in Vienna. It is located in the garden of Cobenzl Castle, located in Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna, Austria. The memorial consists of a plaque and bust of Diana. On the plaque, Diana is erroneously described as Lady Diana Spencer, a style she did not have at the time of her death and did not carry since her wedding in 1981. It is the first memorial dedicated to her in a German-speaking country. Ewald Wurzinger, an Austrian radio journalist at ORF, is behind the private financed memorial. The white marble bust of Princess Diana boasts a dedication to the "Queen of Hearts". Diana's close friend Rosa Monckton has supported the memorial project. In 2014 the tribute was presented for the first time at Kensington Palace in London. The white bust and the memorial plaque were created by the Viennese sculptor Wolfgang Karnutsch. The memorial has been financed through private donations.
