Stricker's Grove is a family owned amusement park located in Ross, Ohio, USA. Unlike other amusement parks, Stricker's Grove is closed to the public for most of the year. Instead, it is rented out for private functions, such as weddings. The park is open to the public for 8 days of every year, on July 4, 4 days in mid July for the Hamilton County 4-H Community Fair, the second Sunday in August (Family Day), Labor Day, and a Sunday in October called "Customer Appreciation Day".

It is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) north of the city of Chillicothe, Ohio on the left bank of the Scioto River. The site should not be confused with the earthworks in Hamilton County on the Great Miami River near Dunlap's Station, the former site of a pioneer fort.

The siege of Dunlap's Station was a battle that took place on January 10–11, 1791, during the Northwest Indian War between the Northwestern Confederacy of American Indians and European-American settlers in what became the southwestern region of the U.S. state of Ohio. This was one of the Indians' few unsuccessful attacks during this period. It was shortly after the Harmar Campaign attacks and unprecedented defeat of U.S. Army forces. A few months after the siege, the United States Army suffered a major defeat at the hands of the Indians. This small episode, a week after the so-called Big Bottom massacre in what became southeast Ohio, turned into an iconic event: Ohioans believed that Native Americans had tortured innocent American settlers.

Fort Scott Camp or Fort Scott Camps was a residential summer campground for youth in Crosby Township, Ohio, near New Baltimore. Founded by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati in 1922, it was the first Roman Catholic youth camp in the United States. It was named after Michael Scott, one of the first Catholics to reside in Cincinnati, who built the diocese's first cathedral. The camp closed in 1988 amid environmental concerns. Approximately 150,000 children between seven and 15 years old attended the camp over its history.

Miami Whitewater Forest is the largest park in the Great Parks of Hamilton County with 4,345 acres (17.58 km2). It is located in Hamilton County, Ohio, just northwest of Cincinnati. Included in the park are the 7.8-mile (12.6 km) paved Shaker Trace Trail as well as many other shorter trails. There is also a golf course, a 46-acre (19 ha) campground, horseback riding, and many sports offered. 46 modern campsites are available, with electric hookups and a fire pit.In 2009 the park district spent $60,000 to build a brush recycling center at the park, and another $13,000 to build ponds for fishing bluegill.In 2015 the Hamilton County park opened a dog park. It is the second dog park in the county park system.

Ross High School is a public high school in Ross Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Ross Local School District which serves Ross Township and Morgan Township. Ross High School has an enrollment of around 850 students. The school's mascot is the Ram. The Rams compete in the Southwest Ohio Conference (SWOC). In 2005, a new high school was built and the old high school became the middle school. At the beginning of the school year in 2015, Ross High School received the National Blue Ribbon Award.
