Sidra Medicine is a 400-bed women's and children's hospital, medical education and biomedical research center in Doha, Qatar. The hospital first opened its outpatient facility in 2016, followed by its inpatient hospital in January 2018.

The Qatar National Library station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line in the Al Shagub district. It serves the municipality of Al Rayyan, specifically Al Shagub and other districts associated with Education City and Qatar Foundation. It is found on Al Luqta Street, beside the Qatar National Library.The station currently has no metrolinks. Facilities on the premises include restrooms and a prayer room.

Qatar Digital Library (QDL) is a bilingual online library which was launched as a joint venture by a partnership consisting of Qatar Foundation, Qatar National Library and the British Library in October 2014. QDL comprises one of the largest online collections of historic records on the Persian Gulf countries.

Education City Mosque (QFIS Mosque; Arabic: مسجد المدينة التعليمية), is the national mosque of Education City Al Rayyan in Qatar. It is located in the Minaretein building, which rests on five large columns representing the five pillars of Islam, with each featuring a verse drawn from the Quran. In 2016, the building was nominated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for its inaugural international prize. In 2015, it won the Best Religious Building prize at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) in Singapore. The mosque was designed by the architectural team of Mangera Yvars.

Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) is a branch of Weill Cornell Medicine of Cornell University, established on April 9, 2001 following an agreement between Cornell University and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. It is located in Education City, Qatar, near the capital of Doha. WCM-Q has 318 students, 21 preliminary students, 97 pre-medical students, and 200 in its MD program.

The Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) is located in Gharafat Al Rayyan, on the Dukhan Highway in Doha, Qatar. The convention centre is a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and is situated on Qatar Foundation’s 2,500-acre campus alongside the Sidra Medical and Research Center, Qatar Science & Technology Park, Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Texas A&M, and Georgetown University, among others. QNCC was officially opened on 4 December 2011. It was the first of its kind being built to the gold certification standard of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED). Designed by Arata Isozaki in partnership with RHWL Architects, the building is designed to operate efficiently with innovations such as water conservation and energy-efficient fixtures, and it is approximately 32 percent more efficient compared with a similarly designed building that lack such innovations. One of the features is the 3,500 sqm of solar panels providing 12.5 percent of the Centre's energy needs. The exhibition halls are equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting. Many other integrative design elements were included in the building to achieve the highest level of environmental and sustainable standards. QNCC features a conference hall of 4,000 seats theatre style, a 2,300-seat theatre, three auditoria and a total of 52 flexible meetings rooms to accommodate a wide range of events. The columns at the front of the building to symbolise a Sidrat al-Muntaha, a sacred Islamic tree believed to mark the end of the seventh heaven in the Islamic religion. It has 200,000 square metres of venue area, which includes 40,000 square metres of exhibition space over nine halls, and is adaptable to seat 10,000 for a conference or banquet. It has held many concerts in the past, some notables include The Script, Ed Sheeran and OneRepublic. In 2013, QNCC won the “Best Events Venue” at the Middle East Event Awards 2013. The Centre received “Middle East’s Leading Exhibition & Convention Centre” from World Travel Awards; “Best Congress and Convention Centre, Middle East” from Business Destinations Travel Awards (a vanity award); and “Best Convention Centre in Middle East” by MICE Report Awards in 2012. Events held at the QNCC include the QITCOM 2014, the Qatar Foundation's Annual Research Conference 2014 (ARC’14) as well as the International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition 2015. The second High Tech Port Fair, showcasing technology companies, and the 19th International Business Forum were held together at the QNCC in October 2015. In 2017, the centre hosted the GCC Majors Competition. Over 1,000 student participated in the 10th Qatar National Robot Olympiad (NRO) which was held at the QNCC in March 2018. In July 2019, the QNCC hosted “The Smurfs Live on Stage – Smurfs Save Spring” as well as “Hello Kitty Live Fashion & Friends“. In 2022 the third Build your House exhibition was held. The DECC and the QNCC signed an agreement in February 2022 to promote Qatar as a business event hub. In November 2023, the Qatar Leadership Conference (QLC) and the World Innovation Summit for Education was held at the QNCC. The DIMDEX 2024 was held in March 2024 at the QNCC and featured 9 international pavilions as well as 200 companies.

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (Arabic: جامعة كارنيجي ميلون في قطر) is one of the degree-granting branch campuses of Carnegie Mellon University, located in Doha, Qatar. It is Carnegie Mellon's first undergraduate branch campus, is a member of the Qatar Foundation, and began graduating students in May 2008.Carnegie Mellon Qatar currently has approximately 400 students, 60 faculty and postdoctoral researchers, and 90 staff.

Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) is a branch of Texas A&M University located in Education City, Al Rayyan, Qatar. The university offers undergraduate degrees in chemical, electrical, mechanical, and petroleum engineering. A graduate program for chemical engineering (master's degree) commenced in 2011.

Introduction and Background Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) is a home for international technology companies in Qatar, and an incubator of start-up technology businesses. Inaugurated in March 2009 as a part of Qatar Foundation, the purpose of the science park is to spur development of Qatar's knowledge economy. At an investment of more than $800 million by Qatar Foundation, the QSTP also became Qatar's first free-trade zone. Facilities and Functions QSTP functions by providing office and lab space to tenant companies, in a complex of multi-user and single-user buildings, and by providing professional services and support programs to those companies, such as the flagship QSTP XLR8, a tech business accelerator program. In September 2005 the Government of Qatar passed a law making the science park a "free zone", allowing foreign companies to set up a 100 percent owned entity free from tax and duties. Collaboration and Ecosystem A feature of QSTP is that it is co-located at Qatar Foundation's Education City alongside international universities. These include Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Georgetown, Northwestern, Texas A&M and Virginia Commonwealth. The science park helps its tenant companies to collaborate with the universities, and acts as an incubator for spin-out ventures from the universities (and other sources). Management and Operations QSTP has a staff of 1000 which includes all individuals that work at the science park for the QSTP entities, as well QSTP management. Goals and Objectives QSTP aims to grow Qatar's knowledge economy by encouraging companies and institutes from around the world to develop and commercialise their technology in these sectors in Qatar. In addition, to have a big responsibility and commitment to develop the role of Qataris themselves in the R&D technology sector and this includes providing high tech training, supporting new business startups and enhancing technology management skills. The move towards a knowledge based society requires focus and this is how it is structured for the coming years ahead. The second stage of development began in 2013, with one new facility being completed in 2014, and another in 2016. International Recognition and Impact QSTP is a member of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, an NGO in special consultative status with the UN, and in 2014 was the first Arab country to host the association's 31st World Conference. Tenant Companies and Requirements Tenants of QSTP are required to make technology development their main activity but can also trade commercially. The first companies to join QSTP were EADS, ExxonMobil, GE, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce, Shell, Total and iHorizons. Architectural Design and Recognition The complex was designed by Australian architects Woods Bagot, who won the Australian Institute of Architects National Award for their design.

Al Gharrafa (Arabic: الغرافة, romanized: Al Gharrāfah) is a district of Al Rayyan City in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. In close proximity to metropolitan Doha and Education City, the Doha Expressway and Al Shamal Highway run along the district. Many malls operate out of the area, most notably Landmark Mall. To the east it neighbors the largely residential areas of Duhail and Madinat Khalifa North, therefore Al Gharrafa is largely a retail hub for nearby residential areas. Doha's downtown is about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the southeast.

Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) is a campus of Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.) in Education City, Doha, Qatar. It is one of Georgetown University's eleven undergraduate and graduate schools, and is supported by a partnership between Qatar Foundation and Georgetown University. In 2015, the university broadened its remit to include executive and professional education and custom training programs, in addition to the primary Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree. It rebranded to Georgetown University in Qatar (previously Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar or SFS-Q) to reflect the broadening of its remit.

The Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS), located in Doha, Qatar, is a center for international and regional affairs. The center is a part of Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar (SFS-Qatar). The center works closely with SFS-Qatar Faculty to create research and publications, organize events and manage outreach activities. Founded in 2005, the center works mainly in four areas: research, events and conferences, outreach and publications. Its inaugural director, Mehran Kamrava, still directs the center as of 2015. The center's main activities are concentrated on the political affairs of the Middle East region, with a lesser emphasis being placed on global affairs.
