Al Samriya

Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum is a privately owned museum located in the municipality of Al-Shahaniya in Qatar. Encompassing an area of 530,000 m2, the three-building museum was opened in 1998 by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani.

Lehsiniya (Arabic: لحصين; also spelled Al Hassaniya) is a village in Qatar located in the municipality of Al-Shahaniya. It lies close to the eastern border with Al Rayyan Municipality.

Umm Al Afaei (Arabic: ام الافاعي) is a rural district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. The districts of Umm Leghab and Lehsiniya in Al-Shahaniya Municipality are nearby to the west.

The original Ahmed bin Ali Stadium (Arabic: ملعب أحمد بن علي, romanized: Malʿab ʾAḥmad bin ʿAliyy), popularly known as the Al-Rayyan Stadium, was an association football stadium located in the district of Rawdat Al Jahhaniya, Qatar, around 9 kilometres (6 miles) northwest from the centre of Al Rayyan. It was used mostly for football matches and it was the home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club. The stadium was named after Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar from 1960 to 1972. The stadium, built in 2003, had a seating capacity of 21,282 and was demolished in 2015. The stadium was located 20 km west of Doha.

The new Ahmad bin Ali Stadium (Arabic: ملعب أحمد بن علي, romanized: Malʿab ʾAḥmad bin ʿAliyy), popularly known as the Al-Rayyan Stadium, is an association football stadium located in the district of Rawdat Al Jahhaniya, Qatar, around 9 kilometres (6 miles) northwest from the centre of Al Rayyan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club. The stadium is named after Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar from 1960 to 1972. The former stadium, built in 2003, had a seating capacity of 21,282 and was demolished in 2015. The new Al Rayyan Stadium has a seating capacity of 45,032. The stadium is located about 20 km west of Doha.

Rawdat Al Jahhaniya (Arabic: روضة الجهانية, romanized: Rawḑat al Jahānīyah) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is accessible through Dukhan Highway by road and Al Riffa station by rail. The district is one of the areas in Qatar which allows freehold ownership by foreigners. It is bordered to the east by the districts of Al Seej, Al Themaid, and Rawdat Egdaim, to the north by Jeryan Al Saham, to the west and north-west by Jery Al Dabi, and to the south by Umm Al Jawashen. The Mall of Qatar is located here.

Al Riffa station is the western terminus of the Doha Metro's Green Line and serves the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is located on Dukhan Highway, opposite the Mall of Qatar, in the newly developed Rawdat Al Jahhaniya district. The station currently has no metrolinks. Facilities on the premises include restrooms and a prayer room.

Rawdat Rashed (Arabic: روضة راشد, romanized: Rawḑat Rāshid) is a village in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al-Shahaniya. It was demarcated in 1988. It used to be part of the Jariyan Al Batnah municipality before the municipality was incorporated into Al Rayyan. In 2014, the village was incorporated into the newly created Al-Shahaniya Municipality. Located in central Qatar, approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) from the capital Doha, the village was once of considerable size but lost much of its population due to government efforts to resettle the country's rural population in Doha in the mid-to-late 20th century. The region in which the village lies is extremely arid and, thus, was historically sparsely populated. Previously, the site was accessible only via unpaved desert roads. The Dhal Al Misfir cave is located in the area.

Zone 51 is a zone of the municipality of Al Rayyan in Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Al Gharrafa, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Izghawa, Bani Hajer, Al Seej, Rawdat Egdaim, and Al Themaid. Other districts which fall within its administrative boundaries are Rawdat Al Jahhaniya and Umm Al Afaei.

Jeri Al Samir (Arabic: جري السمر, romanized: Jarī as Sāmir; also spelled Jeri Al Sammar and Jeri Al Samur) is a village in the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar. It is located in the central-southern part of the municipality near the border with Al Rayyan Municipality.

Al Themaid (Arabic: الثميد, romanized: Ath Thumayd; also spelled Al Thumaid) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of zone no. 51 with a population of 56,027. It also includes Izghawa, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Gharrafa, Rawdat Egdaim, Bani Hajer and Al Seej. It borders Rawdat Egdaim to the south and south-east, Izghawa 71 in Umm Salal Municipality to the east, Al Froosh in Umm Salal Municipality to the north, and Rawdat Al Jahhaniya to the west.

Al Rayyan (Arabic: الريان; also spelled Ar Rayyan) is the third-largest municipality in the state of Qatar. Its primary settlement is the city of the same name, which occupies the entire eastern section and is a part of the Doha Metropolitan Area. The vast expanse of mostly undeveloped lands in the south-west also falls under the municipality's administration.
