Mulpani is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Kageshwari-Manohara Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. Mulpani was previously known as Bhaimal, meaning "no fear". At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,718 living in 843 households. The main occupation of the people living in this village is agriculture. Mulpani is surrounded by Bagmati and Manohara river. Mulpani is famous for the Nepal's biggest International Cricket Ground, known as Mulpani Cricket Stadium, which is under construction. In the recent years, Mulpani has seen much change in its infrastructure and people as well. The main occupation in Mulpani was agriculture but now employment is more diverse.Mulpani has raised its standards of development by youth clubs like Chakhandol Youth Club on the western side and Jhulchowk Youth Unity Club (JYUC), Manohara Mulpani Youth Club, Friends Club®, Nabintam Youth Club® and Manohara Sports Club (MASPOC) on the Eastern side.

Gothatar is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Kageshwari-Manohara Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. It being handled By ward Secretary name Pragyan Adhikari. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 26,169 and had 6,749 households in it. The newly built Bagmati bridge connects Gothatar with the roadway to Jorpati. The Krishna Parnami Mandir is one of the major attractions in Gothatar. In between 2007 and 2010, the density of population has rapidly increased as more and more houses are being constructed. The majority of the population in Gothatar consists of Hindu Brahmins and Kshetris. The natives are mainly farmers who still have cowsheds in their homes despite being very close to the rush of the metropolitan Kathmandu. The public transportation in this area mainly consists of Nepal Yatayat, which formerly used to run from Ratnapark to Tej Binayak Chowk, but now has extended till Bodey. On a clear day, a beautiful panorama of the Ganesh Himal can be seen from here. Located on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River the soil of this region is found fertile.

Kageshwori-Manohara is a municipality in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees of Aalapot, Bhadrabas, Danchhi, Gagalphedi, Gothatar and Mulpani. The office of the municipality is in Thali Danchhi in Ward No. 5.

At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, it had a population of 11,246 and had 2,593 households in it. Danchhi is now included in Kageswori Manohara Municipality. Danchhi/Thali is bounded by Bagmati and Manohara river. The major places include Thali/थली, Nayapati, Bhadrawas, Hariyalinagar, Dumakhal, and Gajarkot. The major government schools are Shree Sahid Aadarsha Uchha MaVi, Shree Kanti Bhairab MaVi, and Shree Chaulanarayan PraVi. Private schools include Miniland English High School, Mount Everest Secondary School, Pragya Sadan School, Alpine Academy, and Hindu Vidhya Peeth.In recent local election Krishna Hari Thapa was elected as the Mayor of the Municipality. He garnered 8,969 votes. He edged Nepali Congress’ Upendra Karki by 482 vote margin. Likwise, UML Bindu Simkhada was elected to the pose to deputy mayor of the same municipality. She received 9,182 votes. Meanwhile, UML clinched victory in ward number 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 while Nepali Congress won in ward numbers 2, 4 and 7 in the municipality. Kathmandu valley outer ringroad will pass through this place.

Gokarneshwor is a municipality in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Sundarijal, Nayapati, Baluwa, Jorpati and Gokarna. The office of the municipality is that of the former Jorpati village development committee. The river Bagmati has its origin as the name Bagh Dwar situated in the middle of the Shivapuri jungle in this municipality. In the village on the banks of the Bagmati River stands the Gokarna Mahadev temple, built in 1582. In late August or early September people go to this temple to bathe and make offerings in honor of their fathers, living or dead, on a day called Gokarna Aunsi.The Gokarna Forest Reserve is located in the area. Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital is located Southwest of Gokarneshwor.

Gokarna Mahadev (The Gods of Gokarna) or Gokarneshwor Mahadev Temple (The Lord of Gokarna) is an important Nepali temple, situated near the village of Gokarna, several kilometers northeast of Bodhnath in the Kathmandu Valley.
