New Ulm Medical Center

The Hermann Heights Monument is a statue erected in New Ulm, Minnesota, United States. The statue depicts Arminius (German: Hermann), an ancient Cheruscan, but locals refer to the statue as Hermann the German. The only National Register of Historic Places property of its kind in Minnesota, the monument remains an impressive remembrance of German ancestry for many Minnesotans and other German Americans. Visitors to the statue can climb the spiral staircase to an observation platform at the base of the statue, which commands a view of the town and the Minnesota River Valley below.

Martin Luther College (MLC) is a private Lutheran college in New Ulm, Minnesota. It is operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Martin Luther College was established in 1995, when Northwestern College (NWC) of Watertown, Wisconsin, combined with Dr. Martin Luther College (DMLC) of New Ulm on the latter's campus.MLC offers several undergraduate and graduate degree programs, all of which train students for service in the WELS. The Wanda Gág House is a historic house museum at 226 North Washington Street in New Ulm, Minnesota. The museum commemorates the life and legacy of author and artist Wanda Gág (1893–1946), whose childhood home this was. Gág was a noted children's author and illustrator, whose most well-known book was Millions of Cats. Gág was the eldest of seven children and the child of an artist. Wanda Gág posthumously won the 1958 Lewis Carroll Shelf Award for Millions of Cats and the 1977 Kerlan Award for her entire oeuvre.Built in 1898, Wanda Gág's home is a fine example of Queen Anne Victorian architecture, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The New Ulm Oil Company Service Station is a historic gas station in New Ulm, Minnesota. The private, commercial structure was placed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on December 31, 1979. Its strong, fanciful visual images exemplify independent gas station designs of the 1920s.

Bavarian Blast is the summer festival held every year in New Ulm, Minnesota, United States. The festival features numerous bands, activities and attractions. Due to its growth in popularity over the years, the location was moved from the downtown area (mainly German Park) to the local fair grounds. The weekend event includes local bands, Tubamania, 10K Race, and a parade. The festival is held mid-July. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 forced officials to cancel the Blast & defer to 2021.

The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame is located at First North Street and Broadway in New Ulm, Minnesota, United States, in the former public library. It has memorabilia of individual musicians and musical groups, as well as photographs of all who have been inducted. The museum is open during the summer months and by special request during the winter. Exhibits honor Minnesota music legends like Bob Dylan, Judy Garland, Prince, Eddie Cochran, Bobby Vee, Ervin Wolfe, John Denver, Whoopee John Wilfahrt, Harold Loeffelmacher, Earl Schmidt, Wally Pikal and The Andrews Sisters. It also documents local ethnic music, like the popularity of polka music in rural Minnesota. Each year, new inductees are added at a dinner ceremony in October.
