Tokha Chandeshwari

Phulbari is a town and Village Development Committee in Dang Deokhuri District in Lumbini Province of south-western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had 4,462 persons residing in 745 individual households.

At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 4,792 living in 1,064 households.Although the etymological roots of the word “phutung” is unknown, the word is perhaps related to Tibeto-Burman kirati root meaning “subsidiary”. Sangla is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tarakeshwar Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2,625 people living in 515 households.

Khadka Bhadrakali was a village in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone before being incorporated into city of Budhanilkantha (along with Chapali Bhadrakali, Mahankal, Bishnu Budhanilkantha, Chunikhel and Kapan). At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,539 . On recent survey in 2011, the VDC had a total population of 10,761.

Jhor waterfall is located in the northern hills of Kathmandu near Tokha. The stream from Shivapuri National Park feeds the waterfall. The waterfall is about 11 km from Ring Road (Samakhusi Chowk) from Samakhushi. There is a temple of Shiva near the waterfall which opens on Saturdays and Mondays. There is also a zipline near the waterfall that was constructed to boost the tourism.The waterfall is close to the city, hence it attracts people from Kathmandu, especially during the summer. The area is underway a tourism development project. A children park has been constructed a couple of hundred meters below the actual waterfall site.

Tarakeshwar " तारकेश्वर " is a municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Dharmasthali, Futung, Goldhunga, Jitpurphedi, Kavresthali, Manmaiju and Sangla. The office of the municipality is that of the former Dharmasthali village development committee.

Dhapasi is a residentially preferred village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality, just outside the Kathmandu Ring Road, in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 31,406 and had 8,202 households in it.

Gongabu is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 54,410 and had 14,456 households in it in an area just 270 hectares in size

Mahankal, Kathmandu is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Budanilkantha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 3,793 living in 710 households.
