Jhor waterfall is located in the northern hills of Kathmandu near Tokha. The stream from Shivapuri National Park feeds the waterfall. The waterfall is about 11 km from Ring Road (Samakhusi Chowk) from Samakhushi. There is a temple of Shiva near the waterfall which opens on Saturdays and Mondays. There is also a zipline near the waterfall that was constructed to boost the tourism.The waterfall is close to the city, hence it attracts people from Kathmandu, especially during the summer. The area is underway a tourism development project. A children park has been constructed a couple of hundred meters below the actual waterfall site.

Kavresthali is a town and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tarakeshwar Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3,034 and had 581 households in it.

Phulbari is a town and Village Development Committee in Dang Deokhuri District in Lumbini Province of south-western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had 4,462 persons residing in 745 individual households.

Tarakeshwar " तारकेश्वर " is a municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Dharmasthali, Futung, Goldhunga, Jitpurphedi, Kavresthali, Manmaiju and Sangla. The office of the municipality is that of the former Dharmasthali village development committee.

Tokha Chandeshwari is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 3,961. Tokha Chandeshwari now is part of Tokha municipality.

This is one of the easiest hiking areas near Kathmandu. You will cross the old and cultural city Tokha while you go to hike there by your vehicle. You need to pay the fees for National park because this lies in Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park in check post. You can either take your vehicle which is quite comfortable but they charge for vehicle entry fee or go by Hike.Most of the people from Kathmandu go there to enjoy nature and take a rest. There is a primary school and small village, if you go there in the May you can taste the yellow berry. This place is very near to Gurje Bhanjyang.

Rajdevi (Nepali: राजदेवी) is a municipality in Rautahat District, a part of Province No. 2 in Nepal. It was formed in 2016 occupying current 9 sections (wards) from previous 9 former VDCs. It occupies an area of 28.21 km2 with a total population of 31,212.

Phutung is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tarakeshwar Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 4,792 living in 1,064 households.Although the etymological roots of the word “phutung” is unknown, the word is perhaps related to Tibeto-Burman kirati root meaning “subsidiary”. Accordingly, if its kirati root is true, the name may date back to 500 BC during the era when Tibeto-Burman speaking kirati people ruled the Kathmandu Valley. Tokha Saraswati is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 5,152 .

Tokha (Nepali: टोखा) is a municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Dhapasi, Jhor Mahankal, Gongabu, Tokha Chandeshwari and Tokha Saraswati on 2 December 2014. The municipality derives its name from the historical town of Tokha (current ward 2 and 3).

Samundradevi is a village development committee in Nuwakot District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3965.

Jitpurphedi is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tarakeshwar Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,135 and had 1,103 households in it.It is exactly located on northern part of Kathmandu, below Tarkeshwor Temple (One of the Hindu temple).
