Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre (SGNHC) is a hospital which provides cardiac care, diagnostic and treatment procedures in Kathmandu, Nepal. The hospital is named after Gangalal Shrestha. It is the first cardiac tertiary center in Nepal.

Khadka Bhadrakali was a village in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone before being incorporated into city of Budhanilkantha (along with Chapali Bhadrakali, Mahankal, Bishnu Budhanilkantha, Chunikhel and Kapan). At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,539 . On recent survey in 2011, the VDC had a total population of 10,761.

Kopan Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery near Boudhanath, on the outskirts of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is a member of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), an international network of Gelugpa dharma centers, and once served as its headquarters. The monastery was established by the FPMT's founders, Lamas Thubten Yeshe and Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, who bought the property from Nepal's royal astrologer in 1969. Its name comes from the name of the hill on which it was built. Kopan has become especially famous for teaching Buddhism to visiting Western foreigners. The first of what would become annual month-long (November–December) meditation courses was held in 1971. These courses generally combine traditional Lam Rim teachings with informal discussion, several periods of guided meditation, and a vegetarian diet. Kopan now encompasses two separate institutions: the monastery, atop Kopan Hill, and the nearby Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery (known as the Kopan Nunnery). The nunnery was established in 1979 by Lama Yeshe to provide spiritual and practical education modeled on that received by the monks. In 2009 the nunnery began raising money to expand its housing and education capacity, which has grown from 4 to 400 in less than 35 years, using such sites as GoFundMe. Kopan Monastery has also recently become a popular recreational destination for Kathmandu residents and tourists. On Saturdays it regularly receives hundreds of visitors from 10 AM to 4 PM. The monastery is not open to the public on other days of the week.

Sankha Park is a park near Chappal Karkhana, Kathmandu. The residents visit the park for picnicking, meeting and morning walk. The park is managed by Kathmandu Metropolitan City. This park is situated beside a busy ring road and offers solace to the many passers-by from the pollution and heat of the city.

Dhapasi is a residentially preferred village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality, just outside the Kathmandu Ring Road, in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 31,406 and had 8,202 households in it.

Kantipur English High School is an English-language high school in Nepal that has been established in 1983. It is situated in the province of Kathmandu. The enrollment may be just below 1,000. The school motto is "Love, Learn & Serve". Kantipur School's principal is Mrs. Subadra Shresta.

Tokha Saraswati is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 5,152 .

Kapan is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Budanilkantha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. It is situated in the northern part of Kathmandu. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 48,463 in 12,324 households. Kapan Sangit Sarowar (a platform for musicians), Kapan Monastery (Buddhist temple), Kapan Aani Gumba (Ladies Monks' Monastery) etc. are tourist places situated at Kapan. Kapan consists of several settlements, e. g.: Mahankal, New Colony, Jyotinagar, Saraswatinagar, Golphutar or Baluwakhani. Kapan has recently developed very high number of Paying Guest Houses for local-tourism.

Tokha (Nepali: टोखा) is a municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Dhapasi, Jhor Mahankal, Gongabu, Tokha Chandeshwari and Tokha Saraswati on 2 December 2014. The municipality derives its name from the historical town of Tokha (current ward 2 and 3).

Budhanilkantha is a city and municipality in Kathmandu district of Bagmati province of Nepal. It is the 3rd largest city in the Kathmandu Valley after Kathmandu and Lalitpur. As per 2021 Nepal census, the city population was 179,688 and 26,678 households.It was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Hattigauda, Khadka Bhadrakali, Chapali Bhadrakali, Mahankal, Bishnu, Chunikhel and Kapan. The city is situated at the foot of Shivapuri hill. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, the VDC of Budhanilkantha had a population of 15,421.The municipality is named after the sacred Budhanilkantha Temple. The Budhanilkantha School is also located within the municipality.
